A Roman Catholic Benedictine Monastery, rebuilt on its historic foundation and still home to a Benedictine Community of monks. Individual guests can stay in the Monastery or Southgate retreat centre, some en-suite rooms available. Groups such as parishes, schools and families can stay in the guest houses located in a self-contained area near the Abbey Church. Different day, weekend and week-long retreats are held throughout the year.
Set on the stunning North Devon coast where Exmoor meets the sea, and hosted by a 90-strong international and interdenominational Christian community. Lee Abbey offers some individually guided retreats and there are focused retreats at Lent and Advent. In addition, it is usually possible to come for your own retreat/reflection time most mid weeks.
